Yes, I am still here. Working, working, working. Dec. 11 will be my one year anniversary at Setup Site. For tech support, that's an eternity. But I'm in charge now, and even though it's a LOT of work, I'm proud of what I've done. The icing on the cake is that I'm the one to put together the new website. It's fitting, since I've made the effort to turn the place around.

Still looking for wedding sites, but no rush, since it's still planned for March 2006 (or somewhere around there). Looking at cruises for our honeymoon too. I love my Brian.

We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner for Brian's family this year. I am very sad that I won't be with my family. This whole time-sharing between families sucks! So as a bribe, Brian and I went and finally bought curtains for the living room. Yay! Ugh, it's sad when curtains make you happy. I've been domesticated. I feel old.

I miss everyone! You all moved away within 2 months of each other! I guess I should get in contact with Bob again, he lives in Highland Park now.

I need suggestions on a good gmail account name. Currently I am michelec(at)gmail.com, but I won't be able to use that in 1.5 years when the "c" turns to a "b". So, michyrec doesn't work either (it would be michyreb then). And it would be weird to have my married name so long before the wedding too. I curse whoever took just plain ol' "michele".

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I just didn't have much to talk about. Work is work, life is life.

My dad said that if I get to 195 lbs. by my wedding day, he will foot the bill for the wedding. No pressure, right? Now I have to work on losing 80 lbs. Sigh.

I miss everyone!

So Brian proposed to me yesterday at Great Adventure. It was a total surprise, I didn't even think he bought the ring yet. On another note, we are both sunburnt beyond belief, and Michelle is going to kill me cuz her wedding is July 11 and I'm the maid of honor.

It was a good birthday. Got to go into work late, had lunch with my roomies, got calls from the most obscure people (who would have known my project-mate from CS476 remembered by birthday!). Work was quiet, finally. My family sang to me over the phone. Yay.

Is is bad when you know more about the operating system your website is run on then the network admin does?

My support ticket: "I currently have shell access and need to know what window managers you have installed on the server? fvwm, afterstep, etc."

Her response: "Protagonist webhosting runs a linux server not windows server."

Ugh. Shoot me.
